Chinese Sword

The Chinese sword, also known as the jian, is a type of sword boasting a straight and double-edged blade. It has been in use in China for more than 2,500 years and is famous for its graceful design, excellent balance, and combat versatility. Undoubtedly, the most renowned sword in China is the Longquan Sword, which holds a rich historical and cultural heritage.

According to historical records, the Longquan Sword was first crafted around 2,600 years ago by Ou Yezii, the great master swordsmith. It was the first iron sword produced in China, bringing a revolutionary change to the weapons industry and warfare tactics of that time. Before this, swords were made of bronze, which were relatively soft and fragile.

The Longquan Sword is often referred to as the "soul of the Chinese sword" because of its extraordinary quality and superb craftsmanship.
